I intensely disliked a few (particularly the one that was half senile and didn't understand about keeping his hands to himself, and the man hating one who always yelled at us about how much she hated her sons), really liked a few others (particularly the computer teacher who was one of the few competent ones in the school and was kooky and fun) and was indifferent to the rest.
Primary school, I loved my year six teacher, and my brother's year four teacher. They helped me a lot.
I hated all my teachers til highschool then shit changed n 90% of my teachers were kool as fuck n let me get away with almost everything.I like to think its cuz in a rather charming young fellow.
I had this one year head when i was 15, now whilst i'm not saying i wanted to kill her, neither am i saying that i would've been particularly sympathetic if she had her tongue bitten off by a barracuda.
There were some teachers i liked, some i disliked, there were one or two i hated, but not enough to dwell on it past saying "what a knob" as i came out of class.
I hate my grandmother, who is a teacher and who has taught me in the past because she is pedophile! I have disliked other teachers whether they were tutors, camp counsellors or the typical form of teacher.
I hated two of them. I hated my chemistry teacher, cause she was a communist, old, mummified freak, who hated all the students! I hated my biology teacher, cause she was a feminist bitch, drama queen. All of us guys, no matter how good we were at biology, we always got bad grades. And all the girls got straight A+ (Even if they didn't answer)
But most of my teachers were cool. I miss my math teacher. She was a very loverly woman. She was very intelligent and very caring. She was almost like a mother to us. I did find some of math quite boring, but I always listened to her, cause I respected her!
My german teacher was awesome. She was a fine, intelligent (and good looking) woman. For some reason I was her favorite student and I always had A+ grades in german. (That is also a reason why I liked her)
I hated some of them. I have had teachers who did not teach just screamed at you. It does not help your self esteem either when you have no clue what you are doing and all they do and say "You are so stupid! Why can you not get this! You are nothing!" You become a teacher to teach. I dont see why so many teachers believe the kids should teach themselves. After all its what they are paid for.
Thanks guys for voting and commenting. It means a lot. I like hearing teacher stories.. Let me tell you about my 3:
My homeroom, whom is also my math teacher, is horrible... Just wow.. So I'd probably vote "I hated him/her" for my Math.
My English teacher is really nice. I'd probably vote for her "He/she was the best teacher ever"
Same with my S.S and Science teacher.
I consider myself lucky. More than half of my teachers were young and really hot. Besides that, they were good, helpful teachers. I liked most of them although there were a few that I disliked.
In middle and high school, I had the stereotypical "butch female phys ed teacher," both of whom always yelled and had scowls on their faces. Needless to say, they scared the hell out of me, but I started to hate them after a bunch of assholes kept getting me in trouble with them and thus they saw /me/ as the bad student.
On a slightly different note, I also had very incompetent math teachers my sophomore and junior years of high school. My sophomore math teacher didn't know /how/ to teach math and he had a thick accent, so no one could understand what he was saying. My junior math teacher was helping students with questions during the final exam and someone narc'd on her, so she was fired and we had to take the exams again.
My current English teacher is a terrible human being. Well, scratch that, she's just not a good teacher. Personality wise, she is terrifying. But I do know that she is there for the people she loves. In front of the classroom she puts on this facade of a fun and happy person, but talk to her one on one and she is the most intimating person. She looks down on her students, she is criticizing, and generally she pretends to be someone she's not. I just think she is mean, and I can understand partially why. She has mentioned to us before that her single mother was an alcoholic and she lost her brother early in life. I just still think she has an unnecessarily high wall on her shoulders, and it just seems to alienate her away from certain people. Sadly though, I would like to get to know her, and do find her interesting. But I'm sure if I told her that she'd punch me in the face.
There was only one teacher I outwardly disliked. She was my math teacher two years in a row and she was horrible at her job. She use to yell at me for not understanding her. And she always said "parallelllll" as if that made it more clear. It was a running joke with all her students to mimic her. My dad told her off one day and she got as little nicer to me but was still an all around bitch. She passed away a few years later and I remember feeling sad. She wasn't old and had young children still in school. She was a terrible math teacher but there were people who loved her. They just weren't her students.
wouldnt give it second thought if she fell dead on her way to class (she hit me)
The title poses the question of hating all your teachers while the voting options below are singular... :/
But yes I hated 75% of my teachers. Looking back now though as an adult I have more empathy for them and what they put up with.
