Did i accidentally lose my soul in my sleep?

I know this isn't a "is it normal" question, but this is the only forum site I have a membership to or trust. Anyways, a few years ago I had a nightmare in which I encountered a circle of devil worshipers in red cloaks complete with skeleton masks and upside down crosses trying to summon you-know-who by shooting lightning at a big ball of fire in a cave over a pentagram. Upon noticing me they turned the lightning on the lake which I was standing in and the water turned into a black pit of death from which more devil worshipers rose from like zombies from the ground. They then proceed to chase me and attack me which lightning while chanting some language I don't understand. I fled in fear to solid ground and attempted to say that Christian thing your supposed to say upon having a dream like this, but I couldn't remember the right words and the fear and adrenaline woke me up before I could finish. Note I have never been very religious and believe some factors while other religious things sound like nonsense and preachy fooey. The very next day after the nightmare I realized my sexual identity, and I know it's one that true Christians would disapprove of. Anyways I'm wondering whether that attack in my sleep was actually me losing my soul or if it was just some crazy dream that just happened to go that way. Please leave a comment if you can, but nothing too preachy. I'm still not a fan of believing in something I can't see or touch.

Honey child, you still got yo soul alive and well inside yo body. Tha devil didn't come fo or take yo soul!

But seriously, the only one charging and convicting you is you by means of your subconscious mind. I don't hold any judgments on gay people and I do consider myself a true Christian. Anyone who wants to make judgments on my faith or your sexuality can get buggered by a cactus as far as I'm concerned.

As far as "that Christian thing your supposed to say" is concerned it goes a little something like this: by the power of the blood of Jesus I rebuke Satan! Hallelujah praise the lord!

You can also say the prayer of St Michael the Archangel or recite the 23rd Psalm, say the Our Father and or a Hail Mary. The only one who can pass judgment on you is God himself. Jesus loves you so love yourself and pray for your enemies. I know it ain't easy. God bless you!

A little on the preachy side, but thanks for keeping it simple. And my sexuality isn't necessarily gay either, it's just in amongst that mix including anything not recommended by the bible.

Most of it was fine. Just that last paragraph at the end that listed names of people I don't know. The only way for me to know what you were talking about is to go look them up in the big book, and I'd get bored before I'd get anywhere. I'm trying not to criticize here.

No, I think it was just representative that you not being 'straight' was unacceptable to religion. All you need to do, I think, is declare inside your heart that regardless of your sexual orientation that you have inner beauty and THAT is what matters.

The way I see it is that this dream symbolised your unconscious guilt of your sexuality and how it played into your religion. Your religion declared it as being sinful, and thus in your dream, you were being persecuted with visions of hell.

Of course, there could be other possibilities. For a more spiritual answer, that I don't feel as though I am qualified enough to give, you can try a spirituality or occult forum.

I want to just say "Yes, yes you did." and leave...but I'm worried that the fact you've ASKED this stupid question in the first place proves you're far too mentally impaired to take that for the joke it is.

    You don't have a soul.
    A dream is not real.
    Magic doesn't work.
    Satanists can't do real magic.
    Nobody stole your soul.
Being anything other than straight is DEFINITELY not to do with not having a god damned soul.
And 'true Christians'? Everyone who believes in the BS in the Bible is a true Christian, whether you want to call them that or not.

You didn't lose your stupid soul.

Unfortunately you may have lost your stupid mind somewhere along the way.

    .__.
