Did the bullies in hocus pocus die at the end?

At the end of the movie Hocus Pocus, we are never shown what happens to the bullies. We last see them being left in the cages as the witches gather the children. I can only conclude that they were left there until they starved to death or died of dehydration, having never been rescued which seems pretty cruel. I mean, sure they stole the guy's shoes, but does that really warrant being left closed up in a cold cage with no food or water, eventually sitting in a pile of your own waste until you die of starvation or dehydration?

What are your thoughts?

Yes, they died at the end and it was deserved 6

    I don't remember the details that well, but the witch's cottage was a museum, wasn't it? I would assume someone found them before too long.

      I think it was a museum that was shut down though.
