Did you go to preschool/pre-k?

truth be told I still have memories from preschool and kindergarden, those were the good old days, painting, sandbox, NAP TIME and snack time. Damn now that was a care free life style

I couldn't go because my parents couldn't afford it. Although they both had jobs at the time, my dad kept spending the money on alcohol and cigarettes, and I was always at my babysitter's.

No I did not. I guess I did at one point and I cant remember. However according to my parents I got kicked out for biting someone. They said I got frustrated when people did not understand me. I also had speech problems as a child so I use to draw to communicate.

I remember being in kindergarten and seeing all my friends go to pre-school when I got left there, it was their first day, I was looking at a bug on a see-saw and my best friend jumped on the other side.

it wasn't pre-school in my times, Moms teach you at home, and I think is very , very good. YOU learn manners, behavior, you advance at your own pace, you can learn more than in pre-school . This day seems that is all about play. ABBOT program socks!! Montessori is great, but you .. as teacher , can notice the difference when a child is home-educated, that the one when to pre-school. ( I do) . I learn to write and read at age 3 , my mom teach me and I copy my older brothers.. beside. So much to learn at home. ..pre-shool ussually if for moms that don't have patient, have to work or so. ..

I went to SK but not JK cause we lived somewhere where they only had pre school and primary and than we moved and suddlenly I was a Senior! :P

It was hell. But yes. Apparently, you're not supposed to bite your peers if they're being mean.

DUH. who wouldn't want to finger paint,take afternoon naps, free food, and entertainment? Those were probably the best years of my life.

Yes, I've been "in the system" since aged 3. I was a super nerd at pre-school, I could tell them time before anyone else :)
