What did you want to be a kid? Did you end up being who you wanted? If so do you like it and why? And if not what are you doing now? Do you like it better tan what you wanted to be when you were little? thanks for answering/voting :)

      Hello:

My prayers are deeply with you. I can remember those days, now way back, 25 years. But they never quite stop haunting you. Mine were triplets. God's speed my friend keep it up you will make it through, I did.

  • I swear God made me to teach. I love public speaking, have infinite patience for questions, and thoroughly enjoy debating others and seeing them grow in knowledge.

But no I didn't become one.

In the end I decided a short life where I have a chance to help the world is better lived than a happy life where everyone forgets about me. MY NAME WILL NOT PASS FROM THE HALLS OF REMEMBRANCE!!

I found my unplanned life to be amazing and satisfying because I worked hard in school and dared to dream big while treating others right. I achieved more than I imagined and fell in love along the way.

  • I'm still not entirely sure what i want to do I think the economy has thrown me a bit. Some of the things I want to do just don't exist anymore or there's no money in it anymore. I don't think I care too much now aslong as I liek my job and it pays very well. I think I just like money and spending it on stuff at the end of the day lol.

I don't remember actually having "when i grow up" dreams, when i was a kid. Asd a matter of fact, I don't even have an idea of what i'll end up doing for a career even now. I don't care, if i don't have to work hard and the pay is alright i'm happy.

I wanted to be Pocahontas. Then I realized I was German.

Really, though, I didn't have a single goal as a little kid. Mostly I wanted to be normal. This site is evidence that no one is normal. So I'm not sure if that's success or failure...

I want to be a girl, I was a boy then. today I live and work as a female. I have a female name and breasts. I date guys and own no male clothes.
I'm comfortable in my owen skin, being masucline was stressful for me.
My enocrinoly system was female as I grew up. Unfortunately I was born intersexed. so yes I am living as i wanted to as a child.

I wanted to move to New York and go to Sarah Lawrence and become a journalist.

I'm a community college Psychology major dropout in California, working at a crap dead-end job.

    Fail.

      Hey My Friend:

Would like to state, that I feel a bit of personal hate in your post. Do not know if you are married or not, but I would like to state to you, why don't you try and re-live your goal of a journalist, couldn't you find some journalist university in California, and go part period, and use that crap job of your's to fork the bills? Come on, I would like to see you try and go for it again, like I said by your post you are making yourself sound like a LOOSER, and to me you ain't.

I wanted to work with my father as young as i could possibly remember. He is a construction electrician and has his own company now i am his apprentice and we work together most days. It kinda really sucks being around your father 40+ hours a week though.

I've had one goal in life since I was 9 or 10. I'm 34 now and STILL working on it! Really frustrating though and hard to keep a positive attitude.

I wanted to be a veterinarian. I grew out of it. When I look back I realize that my gut was telling me something different and the "veterinarian" was the mask of normalcy. I will one day be that kid again but for now, I will stay in my current business to earn money so my husband can work on his dream. Then I will join him once it starts to sustain us.

Actually, I'm still working on my ultimate goal! So....not yet, but it's still my same goal I've always had and it's getting closer than ever! I've ended up having to take small steps, or rather make smaller shorter term goals, as it's not an instantly profiting business, and it's also hard and EXPENSIVE(!!) to get started.

I'm working towards a super high quality organic farm with a slightly exotic flair, in case you were wondering!
