Dirty stove
Is it normal to be clean in general but have a really dirty stovetop? I don't clean it because either it's hot, or because I have pots and pans on it.

I appreciate your taking the time out to share the picture of the dirty stove with us. Now I think what you need to do is to set aside the time, and energy to clean that stop top. It's probably not the most pleasant of tasks, but it's not the worst thing either. When you actually clean it you will have a feeling of accomplishment.
So you have the time and energy to take pictures of tour greasy stove and make posts about it, but you don't have time to clean it?!
Clean your damn stove! Grease is also a fire hazard for gas stoves.
Clean that. Your stove tops won't function properly anymore if you have too much dirt and gunk build up.
All that grease and gunk must stink up your house when you turn on the burners. It's also a fire hazard.
There's no excuse for living dirty.
Turn off your devices.
Turn on a radio.
Get off your ass, and clean your house.
Kinda gross. But I guess it's ok if it doesn't interfere with the sanitary of the food. Unless you dont care but then that's also gross.
If you spray cleaner all over the top and then leave it for about 20 mins, it will do most of, if not all of the work for you. Just grab a cloth soaked in hot water and then wipe it. It would take less time than it took you to take the picture and then make the post.
Definitely a fire hazard: that'll clean it up for you, but may also clean up your kitchen and your house and you if you're home
