Do bi people need 1 male and 1 female to be "fully" satisfied?

An INN post (paraphrased): would you date a bisexual person?

My comment (unaltered): Unless he doesn't look for another person besides me (assuming if the person is bi they want/need 2 people, 1 male and 1 female), everything would be fine (assuming I won't be able to give him the other "half" of what he wants). You can probably say that I am a physics person by the amount of times I said "assuming". Honestly I don't know what it's like to be bi (my knowledge about these is very limited). The existence of this post made me ask the following question: do bi people need 1 male and 1 female to be "fully" satisfied? I am straight. I am attracted to 1 and therefore I need only 1. Bi people are attracted to 2. Does it mean they need 2? Assume that wanting more than 1 person of the same gender is not allowed. I know this question is missing many parts and is not clear, and the question is probably stupid, but still I thought about asking this.

1 is enough 16
0 - prefer none 0
2 are need 5

I’m not bisexual myself but no, the vast majority bi people do not require a boyfriend and a girlfriend to be satisfied.

That's just being in a polygamous relationship. Which is dumb as all hell. But what can I say? I'm not mormon

Didn’t you and your partner bring another woman into your relationship a while ago?

Eh that fizzled out quite fast (combusted would be a better word) we are still in a relationship so that's good.

Honestly, the only bi people I've met in real life that said they NEED a girlfriend and a boyfriend were loud, woke jackasses that always felt like their sexuality needed to be the only thing they talk about. It was their only personality trait. XD

The only one I knew like that bathed less than once a week...she was my roommate for two years ._.

She also lost her kids because she would rather live her bdsm lifestyle than take care of them. I did not know this before moving in and was stuck there.

And when I moved out all her plants and animals I was taking care of for her died! Sorry, tangent over. 2018-2020 was hellish for me.

I have a girlfriend. Could I handle 2 girlfriends? Fuck no they would kill eachother. Plus I only got the energy for just the one.

From my own experiences with being Bi/Pan, One is always enough if its a satisfying relationship. The desire for the other can generally be made up with porn, or a strap on if my partner is a woman.

I am bi and wouldn't say I need a male and female partner to feel fulfilled because I feel fulfilled when I'm single. But its nice to find someone that is cool with you exploring your sexuality

No. I'm bisexual and have been with a man happily for 9 years.

I dont know I think you just can swing both ways.

Dont know what the fuck makes pansexuals different in that regard.

It’s just sex sometimes. One in my mouth and one in my a$$ is sexy!

I mean I'd totally be cool with multiple partners but every man I've ever been with has been monogamous and I've been very happy in relationships so uh no no thats not needed

no because someone can be attracted to both blondes and brunettes, doesn't mean they need a blonde and a brunette

I would say the answer is no at least for me. I kind of agree with Cuntsiclestick, I can normally be happy pretty long term with one of either. However I believe from my experience that attached bi's are more open and more likely to have a poly relationship.

I know very few that have a monogamous relationship. Most have invited a third or consider themselves swingers.

Np. I'm bi married to a woman and have had several boyfriends over tge years all of whom she knew about. She even used to go shopping with 1 of them. But that's it.

I'm bisexual and NO I do not need one man and one woman to be happy. I prefer a monogamous relationship with a man or woman. Nothing more. XD

Im bimarried tp a woman and no, I don't need to have a man. I've had several boyfriends over the years all of whom she's known about. She even used to go shopping with 1 of them. I still like guys but can live without 1.
