Continue... and seek out other musicians and ask for constructive feedback.
There are virtually no "instant" successes (blind dumb luck at time). Most successful people have invested in at least a decade (often more) in overcoming obstacles and learning to reach the point of success.
Quitters never win.
Winners never quit.
It matters not how many times you get knocked down and rejected. What only counts is that you get up every time and move forward. Persistence is one of the key requirements to success.
I wish you the best,
thank you very much for the support
i don't really seek fame, it must suck lol
It's OK not to seek fame. Sounds like you are appropriately humble.
Just seek to become the best musician that you can... Other musicians will support and guide you if you wish to move ahead. The good ones know its a long process; and most of them need backup signers and performers who virtually never get publicity. You'll fit right in if you develop yourself and don't want fame or to be a known performer.
I wish you the best,
Seeking fame is a mug's game. Those who succeed are usually driven by internal demons and they aren't very happy people at all, no matter what façade they erect.
If you've found something in life that gives you joy, you should consider yourself very fortunate. Lots of people - probably most people - never really figure that out.
Make your music and put it out there. Maybe you'll happen to hit the zeitgeist at some point in the future, you'll be discovered, become wildly famous and have to deal with all the positives and negatives that come with that.
Or maybe you'll just improve the lives of a limited group of people for a few minutes now and then. It seems to me that's a goal worth striving for.
Continue! If it's something you enjoy, don't give up. I feel that way about my writing. My website got very few views and zero feedback but creating it is something that brings fulfillment and happiness to me. The people I share it with personally have enjoyed it. The internet is an unreliable indicator. Success may come later if that is what you are looking for. For some it's just the creative process is the joy in itself. DON'T GIVE UP!
Yes, if you want to, do it. It doesn’t matter what other people think. If it makes you happy, do it and if it’s money that’s the problem because you’re not making enough money from your music career you don’t need to fully give up find something to do on the side and pursue your music career with whatever time you have. I have felt the exact same way about stuff I do in my life and it’s really easy to just give up but if you give up I guarantee you will have a regret that you never tried. So I would say follow your heart and if you think for sure that you don’t wanna do it anymore I would say don’t. But, if there’s the slightest chance that it makes you happy I say give it your all.
Was "timid musical project" a typo? I have no idea what you were trying to say?
