Do i have any rights in this situation?
i'm currently working temp jobs, i was working a warehouse job for 300 a week but took a job that payed a bit less but had better hours abd was closer
i only left my then current temp job after i had been told that i had the job at the new place, i spent the last of my money on a pair of saftey boots and turned up to work today to be told that there had been a mistake and too many temp workers had been hired and i didn't have the job after all
i have no money, no job and i can't even afford transport to a job interview if i get one hell i'm going to be eating nothing but baked beans
surely a fuck up like this shouldn't happen, i was in a job and turned down another job plus an interview for this place, would there be anything i can do? or can companies just fuck people over like that and consider it a lesson learnt?
iin? has anyone else had an experience like this?
