Do i make a lot of money, generally speaking?

I make $180-$330 a week depending on my hours. It gets spent so fast on rent and life. Is this a lot of money?

I just wish I had a job. 10

If you're a kid with no expenses that's ok.

Whether or not it's a good income really depends upon your education, experience, and the field in which you work. If, for example, you're a high-school dropout working at McDonald's, that's probably wonderful. If you're working at a retail establishment or something like that, it's probably about normal. If you are a professional with a master's degree and ten years of experience in your field, it would be an insult.

Whether it's a "lot" of money or not, though... is sort of subjective. I earn more than that (I would say that my salary is roughly double yours) though, the company I work with pays for crap and I was actually told today about another company where I would easily make twice my current salary given my education, experience, and expertise... so, to me, what you make isn't a lot.

Honestly, I don't know if I could live off of what you pay, and I don't really live an extravagant lifestyle.

It's low pay, my dad makes about $500 per night,
but it's a 12 hour shift and he only works 2 days a week

That's not a lot but that depends on your living situation and what your monthly expenses are. Also depends whether you are in USA or elsewhere.

If you are living at parents house it's fine, but if you are paying rent, food and utilities out of that it's not much at all.

For a young healthy man the Alaska oil rigs might be an option. The pay is great but the work is dangerous.

It isn't much in my opinion but I'm sure with enough will you can certainly make it work.

I understand you live with your parents and help them with rent. So how much of the rent do you pay?

Excuse me, but are you a caregiver? A few of my clients are caregivers and they are the most overworked, underpaid people on this planet.

Oh... Dude you can make lots more these days. In In-N-out burger they pay above minimum wage $10 hr. In Costco they pay $16 hr for a chasher. Look for jobs in Glassdoor.com there's allot of jobs that pay allot.

I can make more in 1 hour. I have also lived on a small can of p/and beans and a small can of roast beef hash sleeping on the beach for the summer months. When I was not married.

It's a good income if you live in a tent and eat rice.

Find a better paying job buddy. Your employer is underpaying you. You deserve much better than this.
