Do people hate pigeons?

Some interesting facts about pigeons you probably don't know:

They are pests, I hate them. Realize that they have an important function in nature, but I used to power on powerplants and when you have to dig through inches of pigeon shit just to get to the right pipe or don't see the cable markings just because it corroded the whole thing, and these assholes fly all over and shit on you while you work you'd wanna massacre them all, lol.

I love pigeons. Although I'm a city-dweller so they're naturally part of my life. Still fond of the little dudes, though.

I love pigeons! If anything I can't stand people who hate pigeons. I love feeding pigeons, they're so friendly. I once rescued a pigeon who was hit by a car.

I also love feeding ducks, geese and birds in general. Sparrows rawk! But beware of swans cause they're crazy and love to attack! I was walking outside an office park, minding my own business and this swan popped up and chased me. It was scary and funny but I still don't hate swans.

They are neither gross nor adorable, they just shit on your car.

As long as they're not directly above me then sure they're ok.

People hate pigeons in metropolitan areas because there is too many of them and they poop all over people's cars.

Hah I was gonna make a story the other day if it's normal to like pigeons cus I was on vacation to a big city, I don't see them as often and I think they are so cute but everyone who lives in a city chases them away and says they're dirty, diseased etc. but I don't mind them. there was one living in the window sill of our hotel room making coo noises all the time, so cute^^ and I always feel bad for the ones that are all greasy/dishevled or missing toes... :( I love birds

We have a fenced place in the backyard full of pigeons mostly,doves and messenger doves. Pigeons reproduce very quickly almost like a pest but they aren't. They are pretty hard to tame unless you feed it in its beak ever since its little. I love pigeons. They are soft and full of meat. The meat is pretty good marinated in a good sauce.

Mike Tyson loves them....that's what got him pissed off enough to start kicking ass. Someone ripped the head off his pigeon. Thus the saga began.

They can be useful....carrier pigeons and all.

The nuisance comes form IDIOTS who feed them mostly.

I hate that they wait until the last minute to get out of the way. Other than that, they dont't bother me. I think they're pretty.

I used to not care about them, but then I started to find them amusing when they puff up.

Nowadays, I really like them (Playing Hatoful Boyfriend has probably helped in that respect as well)... although I'd never touch a city-dwelling one. A lot of them look unhealthy.

I like them but I don't really like poo.

I've never really had to deal with them. Huh.
