Do you believe in heaven/hell.

God dammit it's all bullshit and I don't understand how people can even believe in it..... Humans lie to them self.

I'm agnostic, more leaning towards atheist. But I still wish I had a reason to believe in God only because I'm selfish. The thought of dying and ceasing to exist doesn't exactly appeal to me, while the thought of eternal salvation/damnation is quite appealing.

But because I don't know, I won't vote. I don't want to completely disregard the possibility.

I'm a catholic and I believe in it, but I know it's not a scientific fact that it is true. There is always a possible answer that it isn't real but we will never know until we die. :-)

I believe in heaven and hell mostly because I was raised that way though.

I think it can kind of exist in our head. We create it ourselves and some times its heaven...sometimes its utter hell.
A real and physical heaven/hell...not so much.

Well i strongly believe in heaven and hell. I'm very shocked by some of the comments here. Do any of you reads the bible, or not alone pick one up. There is a God, if its was'nt, then you wouldn't be here. Just wait until you die, and you will soon believe they both exist, because judging on some of these comments....some of you might get a taste of Hell.

No, I don't believe in an afterlife. I guess the thought of nothing happening when you die scares a lot of people. I think it's funny though. If you look at every known religion, almost all have some form of an afterlife.

I like to think that I can meet dead people after I die, in a world much bigger than this one. Heaven and hell, no. But a world beyond this one is something I believe in, if only because I can't stand the idea of not being able to see my loved ones again when I'm done being dead.

I believe there's a heaven, but no hell. I'm just a little weird I guess. But I definitely believe in angels. :)

I don't think we can ever truly know if it exists or not. Part of me believes in it although I'm not a Christian...and another part of me believes that what happens when we die is something that no one has come up with. It will throw us all off, and we'll be all like "WTF?"

Agnostic. I simply don't know. Though sometimes I lean towards something like reincarnation. Heaven would be achieved over time through experiences. Hell would be from realizing, and coming to terms with our wrongs.

I do. I highly doubt we are only here to die and decompose. There has to be more to this. Paradise, a new life, I have no clue, but I don't think that we just stop existing.

I don't see any evidence or reason to believe in either. I don't believe you need such an incentive to have a compatible sense of morality with the majority of society.

That said, you can only truly know once your dead, essentially making it a question that can never be answered by the living.

I'm an atheist, so obviously, I don't believe in the existence of either one. Regardless of what I think the truth is, I'm not out to change people's minds.

hell however is apparently going to be full of everyone who isn't christian, gay, dosen't agree with one of the many versions of the bible or was very bad...

I don't think I do. It's too dualistic. I believe in an underworld, but that's not hell. And you don't have to die to go their. It's just a darker place. I'm not sure what the opposite of that is, if there even is one.

I believe they exist, bus so far as I know, only as fiction writing in religious text and as imaginary places in delusional minds.

To be completely honest, I do not believe in "Heaven" or "Hell". Like in my opinion, why would anyone believe a person who is good and a person who is bad. I've always thought why they're would have to be "good" and "evil". Personally, I think you just sleep forever. What I do believe in is reincarnation. Being brought back, simply having your memory wiped and getting a new identity. That's it.
