I believe that science and religion are both pretty cool.

I wear glasses to correct my vision and am using a computer, so obviously it is of merit in some way. I also believe in evolution. The proof is there and no fellow Christian has been able to give me a good enough argument as to why evolution couldn't have happened. So what, God had to create everybody and everything at the same time? It's one of the mysteries of life, my friend, think of how boring humanity would be if we just knew everything.

At the same time, I believe that there is a God. Science and Religion are both topics of academia, but, during common conversation, are treated like Gods. Science, the God of progress, Religion, the God of tradition and faith. But there is no God but God. Everything else, as I said, is academia. And I can appreciate knowledge. I'm not going to throw God's work back in his face and say that I have faith in him when I can't appreciate his creations.

... ... ... I'm sure I don't need to direct you to the thumbs down button XD

Everyone believes in something thats why we call it hope and faith. Even if you deny it you believe in something. Some people just believe in something for like a minute such as hoping they pass exams or waiting for results from doctors. There is also science, were you get teached in school so there ovi has to be some science or you can't teach it. But people should believe in what they want as thats how people should be thats why we have our human rights and free speech...

They are the same thing nowadays. Scientific "facts" are just the current opinion of whichever researcher is the most highly respected, provided it confirms the general bias. That is why every time they find a piece of a tooth in a cave, it "completely rewrites the evolutionary tree", to quote every cover article from the last 500 issues of every peer-reviewed science-oriented periodical.

Modern man has become too intelligent for religion, and too stupid for science. Pitiful.

If You Are A Scientist Then Please Explain The Origin Of The Tilma? Or The Eucharistic Miracle At Lanciano Italy That Took Place In The Year 700AD And Is Still On Display Today Some 1300 Hundred Years Later?

  • Maybe science, confused as religion?

I can't be sure, but I think that aliens may have had something to do with our evolution, but I'm not 100% certain, obviously.

Both, but religion always comes first, because there are things in life that science can't explain, and if you don't believe in god you don't deserve to live.

There are things science can't explain but therefor we have something called "Philosophy"... you should think about those gaps in knowledge by yourself and not believe in something that can't be proven and probably isn't even existing.

I believe in God, and the beauty about that is that it can't be proven, it's called following your gut.

By your own twisted ideology, PalestinianGuy, you don't deserve to live. The word "god", simply means "good". Since everyone has probably been bad at one time or another, none of us deserve to live.

WTF!!!! I don't care if god=good, and even if it's true you don't have to be perfect to believe in god, only angels are perfect.
Allah gave us brains to think and choose between what's right and what's wrong.
Oh and by the way, even the devil believes in god.

If angels are perfect, then why did the Angel Jibraaiyl / Jibril (Judeo-Christian Gabriel) not instruct the Jews and Christians to follow Islam?
By failing to do so, this angel has incited war and hatred between Islam, Judaism and Christianity. I think that most people will agree, that this angel is not perfect.

Islam came after Christianity and Judaism, and to us Muslims all followers of these three religions go to heaven, and they shouldn't be enemies, because there are no big differences among these three major religions.
And if you're going to tell me about those "Mujahedeen" that kill Christians and Jews, let me tell you, to me and to all true Muslims these people are terrorists, most of my friends are Christians.

Where and what, in your opinion is "heaven"?
What about the billions of Hindus, Buddhists, Taoists and other religionists, where do they go?
What about all the Atheists and Agnostics, where do they go?

I would believe in christianity if they could give me proof.
    Reasons :
1! They say god made Adam and Eve on the 7th day after the earth was made. FREAKING DINOSAURS! Any christian please: Explain that for me. where and when did the dinosaurs exist. did adam ride one in his free time?
2! obviously: its proven that children cannot marry each other the child does not live - or it is so deformed that it dies soon after birth. so how was the race continued after adam and eve?
    3! Same with noah's ark
    4! Moses. really?
ETC. if someone can explain that and more~ i will concede. but not until then lol

I believe that God created science. The more that we understand science, the more we can appreciate the preciseness of God's creation and the complexity of it. to me, if you understand science, you can understand God, especially when it comes to the universe and how it was made (look into a theoretical physics class for that one).

I usually believe in science. But belief in religion is what gives my life purpose (the idea that there's something other than living and dying and watching other people die).

Just think, we're recreating human organs and we've proven so much that we never would've believed before.

          I don't agree there.

I just can't get over the fact that the ''proof'' of Jesus is sketchy at best. I mean, besides the Bible, he is NOT documented anywhere in history, or in any written document. There are too many questions about God, that I can't get over that hump.

Well I think (well, actually I know) that there are documents stating that Jesus has existed... but none of those sources states him as doing special things like healing people or exorcism or even being the Messiah... He could've just been a normal guy.

Proof of Jesus is ridiculously difficult. As is, of course, God. I don't know about the whole Jesus thing; but I do definitely think God will be proven. I think it'll be a long while from now and that God will be far different than people imagined, but it's waiting to be discovered.
