Area 51 is an air force base used for testing prototype aircrafts. It has nothing to do with aliens.
THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE
The theme was so creepy, with the whistling. David Duchovny was fucking hot back then. And whatever happened to the Smoking Man, I miss him :(
Tell me about it, I used to smoke a bowl and then sit in the dark and watch X-Files. I miss those days. I also really liked Gillian Anderson. I love redheads with big poofy lips; they're beauty role models for me.
Yeah, Mulder and Scully were awesome and I just loved the creepy atmosphere the show had. I was born a bit too late to watch it in its original run (although I have vague recollections of my parents watching it, mostly the opening with the creepy whistling and weird swirling images), but I watched the reruns religiously. Same thing with Twin Peaks, another brilliant show from that era. Now I'm all nostalgic for 90's TV :(
People always used to ask me if I watched Twin Peaks because I've always been into weird stuff but I was a senior in high school and always out partying in those days. I would like to check it out sometime though.
I'd say watch at least the first season (it's only about 7 episodes or so), the general consensus is that the quality kinda dropped afterwards. I personally thought the whole series (only 2 seasons altogether, lol) was great, and it was a good introduction to David Lynch for me.
Well yes. As it's there. I don't however believe that area 51 is anything to do with aliens
On my last airline flight, the pilot did mention to the people on the left side of the plane that we just flew over Area 51.
I thought that would have been protected airspace.
its a real place, ypu could walk right up to it if you wanted to, but you might get shot by the guards though. its cover was blown years ago. the secret is what lies past the gates, and that my friends, will never be revealed.
This is a redundant question, seeing as the US government has acknowledged the existence of Area 51. http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/in-the-loop/wp/2013/08/19/cias-secrets-revealed-a-million-dollar-check-area-51
No, it's just another conspiracy theory like NASA, dinosaurs or frog people.
None of it's actually real.
Wow. What do you mean by believing in Area 51? It's a real place. You can go on the outskirts and see it with your own eyes. It's not a magical, imaginative, made up place.
I think you mean do you believe the conspiracy theories that are behind Area 51.
