I collect those little bells you find at gas stations from different states I've been to. I used to collect cow stuffed animals, rocks, dolls, sparkly things, and bugs:)
I collect paintball guns.. kinda weird.. but not as weird as otherthings..but then again whatever makes us happy right?
Rocks until I was 16, books until I got a Kindle a few weeks back, keys, and a small collection of Baltic amber with occlusions (bits of leaf, small air bubbles, or tiny insects). The Baltic amber is the oldest, up to 54 million years old, and it just blows my mind that the things in it are from a time not long after the big dinosaur extinction. That, if I wanted, I could drill into the air bubbles and smell what the world was like then. It connects me to my planet in impossibly amazing ways. It connects me to a planet long before my species existed. It seems like the most preposterously wonderful thing in the world to me. Like being a kid dreaming of dinosaurs, except having the real thing in your hand.
i collect vinyl shower curtains everytime i go to a store that sells vinyl shower curtains i buy one i must have over 1000 shower curtains
the cork from my bottle of wine. every time I drink (share) a bottle I save the cork.
I collect:
Fossils
Mugs
Lizard related things
String bracelets
But mugs is the main one because they are from special places/people and they mean the world to me.
I collect: rocks, books, buttons (the kind you pin to your shirt), broaches, and playbooks.
I collect too many things, so I went with other :) Among them: CDs,stuffed animals, pencils, erasers, bookmarks, stickers, rings, etc.
Video games, Hotwheels, and old car memorabilia. I have over 200 hotwheels
Ties. I started almost four years ago and now i have over 800. For the two years in the middle i wore a different tie every day.
I collect money from around the world. That's my only proper collection.
Everything else is just an act of hoarding for me, like stuffed animals, and the original boxes for anything I buy.
I Collect Manga :D I have the whole collection of bleach and Naruto some vampire knight and a few other includeing 3 years of shonen jump magizine.... I'm a freakin nerd... lol
ANYTHING THAT DEALS WITH SHEMP HOWARD OF THE THREE STOOGES. HAVE EVERYONE OF HIS SOLO SHORT SUBJECT, ALL OF HIS FEATURES, AND THE ONE AND ONLY PSA THAT HE MADE.
MY BED-ROOM AND STUDY QUARTERS ARE DECORATED ENTIRELY IN SHEMP HOWARD. I PAINTED MURALS ON THE WALLS OF HIS HAVE SEVERAL GREAT PHOTO-SHOTS.

I used to collect rocks and I still kind of do but I mostly collect those birds that sing their call when you press their button. Got my first one in the Poconos.
Books. My room mate hates it, but in my mind book space is more important than living space.

Well then, count me in on that one! I thought they were just something that everyone has a lot of in their homes. My garage is half full of boxes of books, all waiting for the big move into our next house.
Magic The Gathering Cards, I also play the game, I have all sorts of different decks, but I just can't get enough of the cards, such nice artwork on them.
I use to collect unicorn figurines until I was 10 years old. Then I started to resent dusting them, so I put them in a box and gave them away. I haven't collected anything since.
I've been collecting fossils and stones my whole life. My dad did a lot of rockhounding in his youth and I guess I picked it up from him. And have successfully obtained all my favorite pieces of his collection as well as my father in-law's 10 pound chunk of Canadian Jade.
I recently learned of a secret site in the desert where you can find large clusters of quartz points. I know where I'm going this summer.
Absinthe spoons, 50's through 70's kitchen stuff and some certain toys and other items related to my favorite movies and TV shows. Sometimes I pick up skulls or bones I find in the woods and some "accidentally" mummified animals I've found.
