I have. Lovely little car. A friend had one and put a turbo on it. It was like a go-kart. It was very fun to drive. Too bad he crashed it. I've driven sports cars too.
First I start with my baby:
2005 Mercedes C270CDI (not exaclty a sports car, but still fast) - total driven - 25000km
    2004 BMW M3 (a friend has one) - driven total - 1000km
    2007 Audi S6 ( my uncle's) - driven total - 800km
2013 Mercedes SL65 AMG (test drive at MB) - driven total - 50km
2008 Subaru Impreza WRX STI (good friend of my dad's)
    - driven total - 700km.
    2012 BMW 760Li (my boss's car) - driven total - 500km.

The other cars of the list are not as interesting. Mainly friend's cars, girlfriend's cars, realtives's cars...
And it's not just cars. I've driven several bikes, two busses, two yachts, a powerboat and a military APC (The APC belonged to a retired military man. He was a friend of my dad's)

    What about you?

Bikes from MX two strokes to sports bikes. Favorite 2 are a little flat track racer and a Yamaha WR supermotard.

How much power was your mates miata making?

C270CDI looks pretty sweet, that the 5 cyl?

The C270 is my car. Yes, it's a straight 5. I have chip-tuned her too. Normally the C270CDI produces 170hp and 400Nm, but mine produces 201hp and 450Nm.
I love that car. I've also gotten her a front AMG bumper (Better looking) and this year (When I save up some money), I'll get her Bi-xenon headlights.

As for bikes. I've driven a few, but I like cars better.
And the mate's miata was the 1.6 115hp one. A bit underpowered, but still nimble. The MX5 is only a ton. That is light.

Above average. It takes me about three hours to get from the center of my town, to the center of the capital city. The distance is 330km on a single carriageway (normal road) and with quite a bit of traffic.
I've driven 30000+ km. For me driving is much more than holding a steering wheel and pressing pedals. It's a surge of emotion, a work of art, a bliss of harmony. When I drive, it's like I'm the car. I feel the road. I feel the wind, the engine, the speed and always spot the traffic cop! :D

        • It is Japanese and loosely translates to 'Horse and rider as one'.

Have you ever driven a '89-'97 Mazda mx5/miata?

Above average, I'm usually passing vehicles, I don't get close enough to hit anyone, I know my limits better than the street signs the RECOMMEND speed signs around corners and in off/on ramps, and I only go 5 to 10 MPH over limit (pending on road ex. 5mph over city 10mph over highway)

I have no idea. Long as I do not hit anything.

I'm very much above average because I don't depend on all that signaling BS. I pay attention like an unretarded person and always manage to stop on time or maneuver myself away from accidents. Unfortunately there are many goody-goody-two-shoes out there on the street who do depend on signaling and all of that courtesy crap, so they get kind of annoyed about the fact that I only use the tail lights when they are actually necessary. Fuck them.

Below, only because I still have some anxiety when driving down highways and during rainy days(and rainy nights).

I'd say I'm average, if not slightly below. I don't think I am a terrible driver but I am not a great one either =/

30+ speeding tickets and no accidents. Fast cars & cheap thrills.

Off & on. This is over many years, mind you.

Most of the time they have me no question or I was out of my home state, no point in fighting.

I have had some notable victories though.

Yes. Especially as I see so many people driving badly - not indicating, not looking ahead, no lights on at dusk, too fast, dangerous overtaking... the list goes on.
