Do you count the money you get back..

Do you actually count the change you get back when you buy anything? I personally don't count the money I get back unless it's from a huge expense. I usually trust the person at the counter to give me back my exact change/money that belongs to me.

Yes I do. 12
No I don't. 17
Sometimes. 19

I don't. I'm usually wasting it on shit anyways, so I don't care so much if I get short changed.

Yes, and no. I pretty much know instantly what I've got in my hand without counting it.

I don't normally use cash but when I do I look at it when I go to an unusual store/mart. Like the small family business type stores just because when I was little, the mart down the street from my house used to withhold change.

With small stores, it's usually straight into the owners pocket from the register, but when it comes to stores like CVS and Lowe's, that money doesn't go straight to the cashier working. So really, I wouldn't think they'd try to rip me off. No to mention the workers at a larger corporation like those two would get fired in a heartbeat if someone found out because they can always just rehire someone and they're not emotionally invested in that one worker. Family or small businesses don't have much risk because who's gonna call the cops over some change also, it's usually close friends or family working at those places so they're less likely to get fired for whatever they do.

    Rant over!
