Do you feel you are making the most of your youth or are you restless?

I suppose this question only really applies to those under 30, but if you are over 30 perhaps you can comment on whether you are satisfied that you lived out your youth to the maximum of your ability or whether you regret not getting more out of it.

I spent half my youth drunk, high, fighting and chasing wild women. The other half I wasted.

    • Haha sounds alot like a quote from George Best.
George Best also said; "In 1969 I gave up women and alcohol... it was the worst 20 minutes of my life."

It was a take off of a W.C. Fields quote that goes something like, "I spent half my money on drinking, gambling and wild women. The other half I wasted." It was an tribute to the great WCF.

        • Oooh I love W.C. Fields!
George Best must of copied W.C. Fields, as W.C. Fields came much before Best. Thank you for enlightening me the proper author of the quote.

As a side note I've been looking everywhere for W.C. Fields films here in Australia and they are not available to rent or buy. So disappointing. I just watch segments online on youtube.

I could be doing something productive that would move me forward into the career I want to go into, but I procrastinate far too much and I spend my money on stupid shit. I keep trying to tell myself that life is short, I'm running out of time, and that if I don't do something now I may never get the chance. I always say I'm going to get motivated but, when the time actually comes, I put it off. I hate that about myself more than anything. I'm only 21 years old by the way, but the next thing I'll know, I'm going to be 40. I should be wiser.

  • I think the artwork you included is spectacular!

I wish I had more opportunities to succeed, as well as, caring mentors in my youth. The greatest achievement of my youth was surviving it.

I spend half of it on this website trying to improve (and insult) others' youth. This makes me happy.

I think Il always think I could of done more with my youth. But i think i would do more of what i do anyway. Nothing different. I think the saying is we stick to what familiar to summarize my thoughts. Because i don't think Il suddenly change my whole life to do something completely different. To what i am doing already.

I think youth suits me a lot more than I think maturity would unless I change by then. I think I've got this youth thing down, though.

If anything, I'd be interested in what the over 30s say. They're the ones with hindsight. Um, I feel like I'm doing alright. I'm having fun and I'm fairly happy.:) Can't complain!
