Ok,so you know when your walking somewhere and then you realize youve been walked in the wrong direction the whole time but is to emberrassed to walk back ...well I am so I usually just go to a store and buy something.

I used to be. Now I just stop and change direction. For some reason, people always look at us strangely when we do this. Why? I'm just changing direction. It's no big deal. It's not like I'm masturbating in public. Well, not after what happened last time.
It happens to me all of the time at my college. At first it bothered me so much that I'd just keep walking until I wrapped around the area, but now I just say screw it and turn around proudly.
Haha im in highschool and i walk past my locker all the time, usually i just turn around, but if i feel someones watching, i do a loop around then stop at my locker :P
I did that today :P. I came back from getting lunch at 7-11, then I walked to the elevator and wait for a while, then realized my class was on the floor I was at. I pretended I just remembered something and walked away.
You're walking. Who cares what other people think.
Hell as far as they know you're just walking because you want exercise, so if you turn around suddenly they won't think anything of it.
I tend to stop and stare at a window or something, until the surrounding people are well past me, then turn back the other direction. It's such a silly thing to feel awkward about, but we all do!
Lucky for me I don't get embarassed about anything really. Phew! Otherwise I'd be embarassed all the time
It is a little embarrassing, but it happens to me every day so I always just turn around and go where I wanted to. No one has ever noticed before, so I reckon that it's pretty safe to change direction.
