I'm white and my ex boyfriend is black. When we were together a lot of people had a problem with it, including his parents. No one cared when I had a girlfriend, but everyone got involved when I was dating a black guy. Frustrating to say the least.

I was going to answer a certain way but then I realised that maybe it's more normal for me than others. Where I live and in my job, white people are a minority. I don't think I really notice, people are just people. But maybe I would notice if 75% or more were white. Even if I noticed, though, I still wouldn't care. Like I said, people are just people. Even if they're dating.

I would absolutely love to date outside of my race. Its about 95% white where I live, so that's not always a possibility.

people are gonna freak when they read my response but I grew up down in Texas and was raised by my grandparents so I'm a little old fashioned.

I'm definitely not a racist.. in fact most of my friends are Hispanic, black or mixed and I am white (part Native American and part Dutch).

I moved to NYC around 13 yrs old and was no longer sheltered from other races. Between ages 16-19 I started dating Hispanic men and explored with blacks but never had a black bf. Now at my age (26) I've realized the differences in culture do not make for a successful long term relationship.

The divorce rates are sky high and maybe its because people think love is enough when it's not. Compatibility is.. and I'm sorry but Black people and white people have a different way of thinking.... and lets say they think the same way. well I bet the families of those two think differently.

Buuuuuut this is only my opinion and I'd never judge others on the choices they make but just wish them luck!

I love interracial couples! I'm half black and half white, so naturally I wouldn't judge those who date outside of their race. I mean, love is love! I've liked black, white, Asian, and Mexican guys before! The RACE of someone doesn't determine whether you fall in love with them, their CHARACTER and PERSONALITY does. To be honest, I find it completely ridiculous that people would be prejudice against different races dating!

My mother is Japanese, and my father is white. They love each other more than a lot of same-sex couples I know. As long as they're happy, they should be allowed to be together.

I would say date who you want, but please do not have children if you are mixed. It isn't fair for them to not know who they are, they will have more problems growing up which is hard enough.
