A big android selling point for me is the ability to download the utorrent app and then just download films and music for free without having to use my PC as an intermediary. I usually get the new galaxy phone every year and I think they are fantastic.

Wanted an iPhone. The guy sold me on the android razor instead. I like the durability and the hd video function but the shitty macro camera and lack of motion capture is crap. And I can't watch a lot of online videos on it. I do like how I can upgrade the storage really easily, even though it seems to have erased all my songs last week somehow lol.

Previously, I had a jailbroke 32GB factory unlocked iphone 4 that I used with straight talk for my service provider. Before that, I had a motorolla razr. My reasons for getting the iphone 4 were because I wanted to eliminate my mp3 player (which was an ipod). I also needed internet at the time, and I found a covert way to tether my laptop to my phone so my service provider wouldn't be able to charge me extra. The iphone held all of my music and had plenty of storage left over. That was awesome for a while, and I was really happy with it for a long time. After a couple of years with it though, I realized how limiting the phone itself (and apple's operating system 'IOS') was, and I wasn't happy with it anymore. It was starting to act slow all the time, and there was so many things that I wanted to do , but couldn't because my model didn't have the capabilities, or there wasn't a jailbreak tweak for it, etc.

So, I finally decided to get an upgrade. I sold the old phone on ebay and payed the difference to upgrade to a 4g version of the 1st generation Motorola moto-g (factory unlocked). My new phone

But it doesn't have a brand name and cost a fortune, so when I drop it in the water, I'm not out the Iphone bucks.
