I fucking hate doing homework and I'm terrible at Math and have no motivation to improve my Math skills no matter how much I want to. I give it a few years before they come out with a label for that.
I have been diagnosed with and treated for Aspergers and Anxiety Disorder amongst other things. Then I learned that the world isn't about me and that sadness and excuses won't pay my fucking bills so from my perspective, I'm just a run of the mill asshole. I've been diagnosed but I don't consider them to be a part of my life anymore.
I probably have several mental problems, but I've never seen any form of a specialist due to the very nature of said problems.
No problem being a run-of-the-mill asshole. Run-of-the-mill assholes are welcome on IIN. Stop feeling so dejected and think up clever asshole responses to questions that help other assholes.
I guess just depression.
And some TERRIBLE anger problems.
But I can manage it.
I have a sort of schizophrenia and I have been depressed for several years and often get anxiety attacks.
Ok, Who was dumbass that picked All of the above?
If you really are that fucking retarded, then you need to get put down like the braindead bastard you are.
No, an I.Q. of 105 does not constitiute an intellectual disability.
Get it right!
I stutter, I am missing my left leg just below the knee, I have ADD and dyslexia. So all of the above applies to me. Are you gonna put me down?
Bird#1: You got the stuff?
Bird#2: Yeah, I got some swaaag for ya!
Bird#1: I see you're still retarded!!
I said none of the above, but just like NeuroNeptunian, I did have issues with math in school.
None of the above, but I have panic anxiety. I've been taking the unmedicated route, but it's finally getting to the point where I mostly have it under control. For working through this largely on my own I'm pretty damn happy with the progress. For a while after an assault in college it was so bad I wouldn't be able to function... would get too scared or too upset and miss classes, I was terrified of men for a while... I'm sleep deprived and loopy and weird right now so I'm gonna stop rambling while I'm ahead... XD
Asperger's, depression, OCD & I'm prone to anxiety and anger. My temper has never gotten too out of hand, thankfully. I just get more mad than I should about some things.
I have depression and OCD.
It's difficult for me to go one day without music.
I know you're thinking ' So what?' ,
well I basically will listen to the same songs
over and over again each day.
Even if I'm tired of them!
If I miss one day of it, I feel very upset.
Almost as if I missed a concert or something.
The other OCD things I do is closing curtains in just the correct way, pacing back and forth every minute,
looking outside the window every minute, etc.
Speech impediment. Far better than it used to be, now my voice is quite easy to understand unless I'm getting over-enthusiastic about something or I'm angry, in which case I lose control of my voice and talk too quickly and my words run into the back of each other.
Dyspraxia. Diagnosed when I was in primary school, I don't even remember seeing the doctor although I guess I must have. I don't put 100% faith in the diagnosis, but it's perfectly plausible. It wouldn't surprise me at all if I was diagnosed with ADHD or with some form of anxiety disorder.
I'm all just a vague muddle of psychiatric idiosyncrasies which usually don't make my life any worse (I'm not sure if that's because they're only mild conditions, because I've devised coping strategies subconsciously or whether in fact they have a greater impact on me more than I think they do but I've never known anything else).
I used to stutter badly, but I went to speech therapy for years and have pretty much overcome it. Unless I get mad or nervous I talk pretty clear, except the occasional fumble of words.
I think we might be talking about different kinds of narcs.
I was refering to...
1. n. Short for a Narcotics officer. A member of Law Enforcement that enforces drug laws.
2. n. A person who is not a member of Law Enforcement but turns you into the police for doing or dealing drugs.
3. n. A person that turns you in for something you did wrong; specifically to any type of authority figure like parents, cops, teachers, boss, etc.
That kind of Narc, but I was joking of course.
ADD. I've been diagnosed but my parents "don't believe" in it, so I run free. No meds. (:
Eh, your lucky. My mom put me on meds when i was in the middle of the 4th grade. I stopped before I hit 5th grade.
I'm probably going to get them again, I had them by my own choice just to take when I felt that I wanted to focus better, because they helped. But I never went to get my prescription refilled. I've taken friends pills more recently when I wanted to and they still help. They're nice when I want them.
ADD/ADHD is a learning disability. This would also have Dyslexia in that category and mental retardation. Why did you not label it learning disability? I have A and and use to have D.
I have had a stutter since I can remember. It's improved as the years went by but it's still there
