Do you know how to drive a car?
I knew six people in their 30's that never learned. I got tired of constantly driving them places and not getting gas money in return so I stopped being chummy with them.

Sadly no I haven't driven a real car I only driven a car in a game but hey it will help me to one day drive a real car.
I remember there were two people from the US who came to visit and had rented a car. What they didn't know was that here most cars are manual cars. Automatics are not that common. They just couldn't make it move and it was a sad thing to watch. They were a nice young couple.
No but it is because I have epilepsy and have not gone long enough without a seizure to be allowed to drive a vehicle.
I had my first seizure at 20. Before then I was a college student who rode my bike everywhere. I had planned on getting my license within the next year, but obviously I couldn't.
Yes. I have every drivers license category.
Motorcycle (small and large), Car + trailer, CDL (truck and bus with large trailers), small and large tractors with large trailers, Boat license (sea and river).
The only ones I don't have - airplane, helicopter and train/ tram license. Maybe if I win the lottery I'll get those too XD
Yes, and I absolutely love the ability to drive, and especially to be able to leave a place whenever I please! 🤣
I would imagine most if not all the Americans on the site have. Unless you live in a huge city like Los Angeles or New York City, you basically need to learn in order to survive. Although, with that being said, you can survive with a bike as long as you're in a big enough town and not somewhere that snows often.
Of course I can drive manual and automatic but I haven't driven since January of this year. I have a vehicle and should have been driving again in April but I fucked up, son.
I dont know of many people that have never driven but sometimes its really not important
i cant get up my driveway in 2wd in the middlea the summer
well i can but the rear wheels on my pickup spin & bounce all over and make a messa the gravel
and i really hate that pushbutton 4wd shit gimmee a floor shift any day
I once owned an old Toyota Land Cruiser and along with the floor shift you'd have to get out & turn the hubs on the wheels to go into 4 wheel drive.
The gas tank was on the interior of the vehicle under the passenger seat. That was a manly vehicle.
among others i got an 83 3/4 ton chevy pickup with manual hubs floor 4x4 shift and dual saddle fuel tanks
tasteful levelsa rust but no rot and a built torque monster 407 smallblock & 3 speed automatic both from a similar 76 pickup
its a bit much for takin on the highway but fun around town
Yes, and I hate it. People keep moving into this town where I live, it used to be small and the infrastructure very much reflects the fact that it used to have more cows than people. Now the roads are congested with people who drive as though they've never actually seen a car before, let alone been inside of one. Every day I feel like I have to thank the goddess Fortuna or whatever strange entity is responsible for the fact that one of these maniacs hasn't hit me on my way to go to work or do some simple errand that shouldn't require that I put my life on the line.
