Do you ever click on a person's profile and get a surprise when you see their profile picture?
People choose the strangest images to represent themselves or make a statement with. Makes me shake my head. Makes me laugh myself silly too. XD

My current profile pic is the only one ever that has actually been a picture of me. I was toying with the idea of having a "voice" profile next. Maybe I'm becoming more open. In another two years, I may post a 3D hologram that you can rummage around inside and see what I had for dinner.
Although knowing you lot, you'll probably all use it to look inside my pants.
And laugh. :P

I think the OP was saying that my genitalia is worth crying over, but not good enough to be laughed at. Seriously, I'd get in the "crying" line. I'll even save you a space because that's the line I'm in myself.

I like seeing profiles with pictures. It gives you a little insight to the User. Although sometimes they just bewilder me.
Indeed I do. I am always disappointed when someone doesn't have at least SOMETHING on their profile!
I put up a picture of myself on my profile. Actually this one is me with my lil bro at his graduation. I think it is interesting when people post their own pictures, just to see the person behind the personality. However the internet is such a place that some people don't feel comfortable in doing so (understandibly) so I also like when people post random pics, or funny ones. Lolz
My profile picture is just a painting of me, but it looks incredibly accurate.

I like mine. It has it's own meaning for me but I'd like to think that People find their own meaning in it.
I love your picture. I was thinking about putting something up. I worry about my privacy, but maybe a partial shot of me would be alright. Hell, a big fat heart might even be nice!
I never really look at anyone's profiles, but I remember someone having the standard avatar but mirrored and I liked the subtleness of that one.
I like looking at others profiles. It's interesting finding other things about people that you didn't know. :)
I'm mostly to lazy to look at peoples profiles, but when I do they be pretty/cool.
I like profile pics and bios. It let's you get to know the person in a sense. I like my profile pic on here. It's of the Eiffel Tower and as much as I love it I'm starting to get bored of it. On my other profiles, the pics vary. On tumblr, it's a picture of Haku from Spirited Away. On Flickr, it's one of my artworks and on vimeo, it's a photo I took in NYC.
Unlike my picture suggests, I actually try to make useful comments most of the time.
I'm thinking about putting up a picture of a llama. I don't know why, but I will.
I don't actually like my profile, I keep meaning to change it all but it's just one of them things I never get around to doing. I may have a dabble later.
Is that a hairy mummy? My profile pic is of my dog at the moment. I can never seem to capture her blue eyes on camera.
