Well to be fair I like female singers as well as male singers. Other words I love both but I just balance it up.

Male singers. I almost never listen to female singers when I think about it...

I'd say it's almost equal, slightly more male though. I don't really have gendered voice preferences.

Hmmm never thought of that before. But yeah I’m a girl and I listen to mostly female singers now that I think of it. I maybe listen to two guys consistently. Also my Spotify 2020 Wrapped said that I am in the top 1% of Justin Bieber listeners. Some people may not like him, but I’m proud. He’s the primary male artist I listen to. Otherwise, depending on the genre I will find various singers. Generally, my playlists consist of female artists. PLEASE listen to Janine on Spotify. I’m such a huge fan of her and she’s not very well known. Old Beside You, Broke Me Down, Too Late, Unstable are among my favorites. She’s worth it!

  • I really like female led symphonic metal bands. Nightwish is my favorite, especially the older work with Tarja's operatic voice, and Xandria, Amberian Dawn, and a few other gems like Abba and Avril Lavigne

In general I like female singers better I think, they usually have more inspiring lyrics and I can sense their emotions really well. I've been told I'm really empathetic before, to a fault even 🤷

I like some male singers, I like Yes, Disturbed, Queen, Led Zeppelin, Dream On is good, some Shinedown, Foo Fighters, Beastie Boys

But I'm realizing now that most male lead vocal bands I listen to when I'm already in a certain state of mind and want to stay that way, and the female lead vocal bands help me transcend my emotions, like they help me observe myself observing myself

I don't listen to singers. I hate the culture they represent.

Do you think that singers all represent the same culture? How do The Four Tops:

share the same cutlture as Brad Roberts:

who shares the same culture as Jim Croce?

    where's the other option?

I statistically listen to more male lead vocalists, but do not make my choices based on gender. I choose based on country and what language it's spoken in.

I am female but listen to more male vocalists. Most females 'oversing'. Also female vocalists tend to be more arrogant than their male counterparts.

I probably listen to more male singers, but it's pretty close to being 50/50. My favorite vocalists are usually female

I've never really noticed tbh. Probably male now that I think of it.

I don't tend to like the sound of female singers. They just don't sound very good to me, usually. Sometimes, there is a female singer who sounds good. I'm not suggesting that I can sing any better, but I'm not pretending to sound good.
