    It's normal because Celebrities, as we know them, are icons of desire. They invite you to desire them, their acting, their actions within media. You turn away from Reality, you indulge the Fantasy, and they are the Totemic Ideal.
    When I was a younger man I had a huge crush on Parker Posie. I watched all of her movies because she was my 'standard of beauty' after I saw her in Party Girl. I watched Blade 3 because she was in it. I never touched myself to her, but that Para-Social longing was still present.
    You are intoxicated by beauty and art. It's a historical tradition in humanity.
    My only advice would be to not forget that real people exist and one of them might also fill the space that the fantasy is occupying. Otherwise? Carry on.
