      Me too, it's an integral part of my life, although I discovered recently that I get quite uncomfortable if I play music of friends' bands in the bathroom! Silly I know - I told them and they thought it was really funny that I got embarrassed, as if they were in the bathroom with me!

      I'm sticking to strangers' music while I shower now, but I love to play tapes of my mates' bands in the car or anywhere else except the bathroom

        Lol that's funny. I know exactly what you mean though, when you listen to friends' bands it feels like they're there or can somehow tell you're listening to them.

    All the time, mainly metal or anything inbetween and I usually end up cooking for longer as well because the kitchen becomes my stage at a concert and I become a really hot metal chick playing a gig at some rad venue.

    Italian Opera! That's what I play. Rossini, Bellini,Verdi, and Puccini.

      Only when you cook Italian food? I love the mental image of someone playing opera and singing along in the kitchen, you must be fun to live with

    Yup. If I'ma be in the kitchen making anything that takes longer than ~5mins I play music. Mostly instrumental stuff, rarely songs. It used to be classical solo piano for the longest time but for the past month or so it's been cool jazz.

    I either put on some music, or Top Gear on my laptop.
    Also beer is a must while I'm cooking.

    I'm not much of a cooker, but when I attempt, it's usually some sort of rock music or sometimes an anime theme medley.
