When you are waiting for the elevator or crosswalk do you push the button once and wait patiently, or do you push it multiple times.

I pretend I've pressed it and then lean over the button so impatient people can't actually press it.
I had friend in college who used to save his files two or three times in a row and say that it gets saved better that way! :-)
Imagine being in an elevator and suddenly it speeds up, because someone is pushing the button multiple times.
If I'm impatient, yes. Although I'm sure it does nothing, you can let out your frustration at not being able to move on that damn button.

The only button I push is a clitoris and I usually have to push it more than once.
I push buttons all the time
There's no way I would press the elevator button only once because it's for idiots, it also makes me feel better about myself
If the elevator doesn't close I keep pressing it again like a maniac, if it works fine then there is no need.
yes i hit it about 3 times and stop to make sure it new i was there waiting
never with an elevator since you know with certainty that it registered your push. but with a crosswalk, i like to push twice just in case the first one messed up.
Never on a elevator. I hate being on elevators and one of my fears is that the elevator will malfunction and I'll get stuck in there or the cable will break... O_0 As for Traffic lights, I never go on walks. When, I was a kid, I often too short to reach the button and I think I was told to only do it once.
