Now that it is summer I like to know if there is anyone who can swim. if they like swimming and if they have a favorite place to go. (don't tell me water!)
I never learned, so now whenever I see water, all I see is a watery grave.
When I was younger I swam alot. As I got older though, I don't do it nearly as much (if at all). I would swim again if I had a pool.
Not one member of my family likes swimming. Even the most athletic of my family members (including myself) ditched their high school gym classes when there was swimming. I can't swim well so I just avoid it completely (even the beach).
Your post made me think of swimming. Its winter here for me. I'm swimming indoors for now. Heated pool. Heated everything in my case.
I love swimming, but I hate swimming in the ocean. When I was younger, I stepped on something sharp and had to get surgery so now, I absolutely hate swimming in the ocean. But if it is in a pool, then I'll go swimming in there till midnight!
P.S. Be careful when swimming in the ocean. Also, sorry if I kind of scared you...
I can't swim, but it hasn't stopped me from going in the water at the beach.
I love swimming, I go every week, sometimes more than once a week if I'm not busy with the cows.
Ive been swimming competitively for 15 years. But in the summer its all about surfing :)
Not as sport, but I like to play in the water, my grandparents on both sides have pools and my mom lives by the ocean
Ocean or pool I love it and it doesn't have to be summer I still swim in the ocean in winter.
I was also in a swimming club when I was a kid.
I haven't gone swimming in such a long time, I'm not sure why given that I love it.
I've swam in the ocean abroad and it was lovely, but I don't enjoy ocean swimming here in the UK. I don't like the outdoor pool as much as the indoor pool either, so it doesn't really matter whether it's summer or not to me :P I like swimming, but I haven't done it for a while.
