Once their dead, their purpose on Earth has been served. Whether they contributed nothing or started a movement that has helped thousands in which case they served their purpose of getting the ball rolling.

My Grandma was a devout Christian, she stated "I don't want my grave to be marked with a headstone. I don't want people coming to my grave and 'talking' to me. If you have something to say to me, say it to me while I am alive right now. Don't wait until I'm dead to tell me you love me or give me a peace of your mind."
And I agree with her wholeheartedly.

Whether or not you believe in an afterlife, death is peace. Death is freedom and death is rest. They did what they could, now they're dead, learn to manage on your own. We can't constantly continue to burden people that have done all they can and I don't think that we can contact them (as in 2 way communication) because it's not right. If you didn't appreciate them while they were living, why do you suddenly appreciate them now that they are dead?

No. People who claim they are communicating with the dead are actually not. They are misleading many people with what they are doing.

yes, im psychic and have seen many, many spirits and all in various different forms, you can hear them, they can touch you and you can smell them.
I have also been to a reading and she told me that my nan was by my side, she told me things about my nan and family that she couldn't know.
I have come across negative spirits and mostly they just want to be left alone, only once have i come across a truely nasty spirit and i left quickly, they are everywhere.

If it is possible I think we probobly shouldn't play with it. I mean if there is creatures from another realm there might be bad spirits and demons too. I know you don't want to let that type of shit into your house. Thats some dark stuff. Why I would never touch witch craft. On the off chance it does exist. If you believe in something or not its safer not trying it just to be safe.

Anything acting like a dead person is a demon. You either go to heaven or hell when you die there is nothing in between.

I work with spirits more than I do normal, living people. I am wiccan, and that allows me to even destroy lucifer (Satan, to u Christians) and its a good life. And not all demons are bad. They are just misunderstood.

You can but it takes a lot of control over yourself and focus, its risky. I've summoned spirits before, heard voices, saw faces in mirrors, saw shadow people, etc. It might drive you mad. Dreams are reality and reality is a dream.

If you mention someone in your prayers after they're dead, I think they'd hear it in heaven. You can talk to them, just not get an answer. Don't bash me for saying my beliefs, that's what we're all doing here.

Its hard to say. No one really knows. There are people who swear up and down that they can, and then there are the skeptics that swear up and down you cant. I like to be in the middle of two extremes and go with a definite maybe.

It's impossible. Our vocal cords and other methods we use to communicate are buried in the ground, lifeless, when we die.
