Ok, I fear I have to be the one to say this, so here it goes.
For the love of God, NOTHING IS GOING TO FUCKING HAPPEN ON 12/21/12!!!!!!! People are freaking out going "Oh Nostradamus! The Mayan Calendar! This image of Jesus that baked into my morning toast!" But let me at least debunk the first two.
Nostradamus: He's got his shit wrong before. Sure he predicted 9/11 and Hitler or whatever, but according to him 2000 should have been our doom, but we're still here aren't we? He may have been a brilliant mind, but shit, we all make errors!
The Mayan Calendar: The fact that people are actually freaking out about this is borderline-mentally challenged. It would be like if every year, someone freaked out saying we were all gonna die on December 31st. JUST MAKE A NEW CALENDAR! Oh wait, the Mayans can't...cause Spaniards came in and slaughtered them. Oops.
Ok, now that I'm done ranting I have this to say: I survived Y2K, swine flu, bird flu, 6/6/06, 9/11, and every other time the world was going to end...BRING IT 2012!!! I'M NOT SCARED OF YOU BRO!

Allot of interesting things are suppose to happen this year.
Our solar system is supposed to go through the center of the milky way.
Our Galaxy is supposed to either collide with the andromeda galaxy or pass by it.
And our planet is suppose to come in contact with niburu.All are apparently rare occurrences.

You are fucking retard the Milky Way galaxy is estimated to be 100000 light years across. Light travels at approximately 186000 miles per second or 300000 km per second. We are nowhere near the center of the galaxy nor will we ever be. The Andrometa galaxy won't colide with our galaxy for at least 3 billion years. To give you an idea of how long that is from now the Earth is estimated at 4.5 billion years old and the whole universe is estimated at 13 or 14 billion years old. Also magnetic pole shifts happen often on a planetary time scale and take thousands of years to complete. It won't happen this December 21 or whatever you fucking idiots are saying because it is a gradual process. Furthermore MAGNETIC POLE MEANS THE THINGY THAT MAKES THE COMPASS TURN. Not the Earth or the Earth's crust. The Earth's crust has always been shifting and will continue to do so indefinitely, well at least for longer than humans will survive. Nostodomus' writings are so vaug you can use almost any of them to predict that I'm going to go shit in one hour and it'd be right. Nibiru is just fucking stupid.

It doesn't sound stupid to me, I agree with you. Statistics have shown that there have been more natural disasters recently as opposed to many years ago. Some may look at it as irrelevant but I believe that if the world were ever to end, it'd be because of natural disasters and we just keep having more and more. This may not mean that the world will end in 2012, but the world ending shouldn't be seen as impossible.

Well obviously no one can be absolutely sure. But, I highly doubt it will. Mayan calender ends on Dec, 21 or 12 I can't remember 2012 because that is the start of the new age of Aquarius.
Or we will drift so far out into space the earth freezes and we all decipate. One or the other.

So wont that mean they WILL happen again? I mean, if what your saying is truth. Then time repeats. So things will happen again even if they already have...
So in reality, if time repeats, what has happened before, will still happen again. It doesn't match up with our calender because its a calender based off the stars and not just the sun and the orbits of the sun. It's more complicated than our calender. however, i do think your right. I think ive had a few too many brewskies...

I think some sort of change may happen climate wise, but I don't think the world is going to end. And who does he world "ending" even imply? Like planet earth is just going to burst into flames for no reason? Seems a little far fetched. Even so, it probably wouldn't take that long or be that painful so I'm not really afraid.

Well i will be so wasted on new years eve that if the world does end I won't even be aware of it. In regards to the mayan calender, the mayans had 1000s of different calenders and it just so happens that a single one comes to the end of a period on the 21st of december 2012, this in no way is supposed to signify the end of the world but is to do more with the movement of certain constellations.

It's all about probability....the Earth has the same probability of ending tomorrow, yesterday, 3 weeks from tomorrow or 5,000,000 years from now as it does today. It's just the end of a fucking calendar. I mean shit, our calendars end every year but the Earth doesn't. The only thing who's predictions have ever come true exactly when and how they were prophesied has been the Bible. I'm no right wing extreme conservative Bible thumper but its true....Google dat shit!
