Ive had several psychiatrists evaluate me throughout my childhood, all telling me that my intelligence is above average, but when it comes to the standard US educational system, I am average to below. I am a fish trying to swim up a tree
I've had many people tell me, almost in surprise "wow you're really smart" or "wow you know a lot of stuff". But being smart means also acknowledging you don't know everything and that in the end, everyone has moments when they forget where they put their car keys only to find it in their pocket, so, I guess I'll have to say more or less average.
Hard to say...im certainly not dumb, but I know lots of random facts about alot of things. My Pop pop always used to say that people typically have a depth or a breadth of knowledge. You either know lots of random shit in all sorts of fields, or you study one particular thing and become a genius at, more or less
I was tested throughout my kid and teen years where I bounced around between the high 130’s and the low 140’s
Took some random free online test a year ago and got 137
I'd say about average. I know alot of things many don't know but also don't know akot if things that many do know. So about average
Been thoroughly tested. I have above average inteligence of 120. With great reading comprehension only to cover up my major fault of having terrible short term memory. Which was upgraded to below average after after afterschool classes that I took in middle school and high school.
I am also a lover of learning so my interests are extremely broad. My current intrest right now is how christianity's growth and eventual domination of the roman empires faith system.
I have no idea, because at things like math or academic stuff like that I am garbage, but in creative things like writing, singing and drawing I excel a lot. So I think it depends on how you define intelligence.
Above in some things; below in others. The proof is in the Educational Psychologist's aptitude test report. Shameless boast: apparently at the time of taking the test (10 years ago) my verbal processing/comprehension (can't remember which) was in the >99.9th percentile. Like, where's my trophy?? I NEED this consolation for sucking so bad at spatial awareness.
Above average. IQ 142 and speaker of 6 languages. Am in the process of creating 2 languages.
