Do you use dry shampoo when your hair is greasy?

I used to back when I dyed my hair purple since regular washing would make the color fade much faster.

Dry shampoo works good to clean the hair up a bit and make it look a somewhat fluffier -- after all, it's what astronauts in space use -- but the powder can look like dandruff, a big con among the pros.

Cornflour is a good substitute for baby powder or dry shampoo, works the same but is a lot cheaper

When my hair gets oily I either wash it with organic coconut lime shampoo that makes the oil come back slower or baby powder if I can't buy it at the time.
