    I used to love Yahoo Answers. Yeah there were a lot of idiots on there, particularly in the later years, but otherwise people would usually give good answers. I've tried switching to Quora, but it just seems so much more serious there, with some people posting entire dissertations as answers. People on Yahoo Answers were more relatable, like people on this site.

      Yeah, and most of the questions on quora are retarded, and asked as if a robot asked them or with a really obvious answer.

        Yeah, in fact I'm pretty sure a lot of them are generated by bots. They just seem too robotic.

          They'll be like, "where do babies come from?" and the next will be something like, "I beat up my son and locked him in the cupboard for hours for not finishing his supper, and I think he deserved it, is this child abuse?"

    I miss the guy who used to say "You've got mail" when you'd sign on to AOL.
    He was my only true friend in the world.

    I miss the laughably stupid questions, especially the ones with terrible grammar. The fact people would spew their ridiculous opinions and “advice” in the replies with their real names and selfies attached was always bizarre to me.

    90's and early 2000's internet was awesome. Web pages where so organic homegrown if you know what I mean it was exciting discovering a new website.
