Does anyone else do this to their hair?

Whenever I pull out a loose hair from my head, I always pull off the tiny yellow blackhead-like bulb from the root of the hair follicle and just roll it between my fingers so I can feel the roundness of it. Does anyone else do this and is it normal?

    i just pulled a hair and had a look at it...
    but i dont seem to have a yellow bulb :/
    are you sure your talking about hair and not your garden?

    wait, you mean like, when you pull a strand of hair out, the little piece at the end? i thought that was dead skin/dandruff
