Does anyone else like watching gore to fitting music?
Recently I've discovered a most interesting video, by the name of "3 guys 1 hammer", in addition to another one called "1 lunatic 1 icepick". I was made aware of these videos a few years ago but never really knew what they were until watching the "1 lunatic 1 icepick" video for the first time. It's become almost a release now for my personal aggression to watch others beating each other to a pulp or engaging in self-mutilation, and part of me loves to see them in pain. I force myself to smile throughout the entire video, knowing a lapse of smiling means weakness, and so I've trained myself to derive joy out of battered faces and bloody bodies.
To heighten my enjoyment however, I've thought to play music while watching these videos. In most of these videos all you hear is rustling, thumps, and screams and moans of pain - with a usually low-quality sound. So, I'd play songs by Metallica and Slayer in another tab and think of the video I'm watching as a sort of "music video" to compliment the music. Here are some matches I find appropriate:
*That video in Run the Gaunlet where the escape artist "drowns", (yes, I know it's fake) = Metallica - Trapped Under Ice
*1 lunatic 1 icepick = Slayer - Necrophiliac + Slayer - Show No Mercy
*3 guys 1 hammer = Megadeth - Black Friday, (it mentions smashing hammers through peoples head, and so you can see just how fitting it is!)
*Any self-harm video ever = Slayer - Raining Blood
The possibilities are endless! So, anyone else do this, or am I alone?
