Does anyone get heart palpitations that last hours from stress?

I've never had that happen from stress alone, and definitely not for hours. My first thought was maybe you should see a doctor, but I could be the odd one out.

You've asked a lot of questions on here about heart palpitations already. Please go to the doctor and get the appropriate treatment and advice from them rather than relying on Internet strangers.

I did and then had a mild heart attack. Whatever's stressing you isn't worth it.
