Hello, I just wanted to know what a lymphoma is and if its curable and other relevant info and stories about it.

My best friend's mum had one and she survived, she didn't really struggle that much, it was good.
As far as I know, its.. "The C word" My aunt had Hodgkin Lymphoma and that was a cancer of the Lymphatic System. I pray you do NOT have this but that is generally what it means :(

Can lymphoma cancer be cured?
They do not like to say these people are cured because of the chance that the cancer will come back. With low grade lymphoma some people will still have the disease after 5 or 10 years but it can be kept under control with treatment. So, doctors usually talk about 5 year and 10 year survival instead of cure.
Because the lymphatic system runs all through the body, you can get non Hodgkin lymphoma just about anywhere. The most common place for it to be noticed first is in the lymph nodes in the neck. It is quite common to find it in the liver or spleen. But it can occur in other body organs as well.
