Does bmi include your shoes clothes and food?

Whenever I go to any doctor they weigh me with my shoes sometimes boots on, my clothes including jacket and because I usually go after lunch, my food baby weight.

Is this normal? When I weigh at home should I weigh with full clothes and shoes on? Is that more accurate because I'm wondering if BMI goes by that instead of no clothes.

No clothes I'm 140 pounds with clothes and my boots I'm 146 pounds. 146 puts me at overweight BMI, 140 puts me at a healthy BMI. Which is right? Thanks

BMI is correctly done by grabbing the skin and taking measurments of the mass of what is pulled, not by weight.

Bmi is outdated and inaccurate. You can tell if youre fit or fat its pretty simple.

Can you do something aerobic for more than 5 minutes without losing your breath?

That's easy... Only the elderly infirm and 600 pounders couldn't do that

Nah even someone skinny that's lives a sedentary lifestyle would struggle with that.

The entire hospital system is a scam. That’s why they don’t really care.

Everywhere I've ever worked or place I've ever had to weigh in, had a standard deduction for clothing, 1.5 to 2.5 kg or 3 to 5 lbs depending on winter or summer. Most asked or requested shoe removal.

There is a generic chart for bmi based on weight and height, however the only accurate bwi is through measuring.

It shouldn’t include your coat and boots in the weight, your “food baby” on the other hand does count.

They're not going to weigh you naked and you shouldn't be eating so much at meals it gives you a lot of "FoOd bAbY wEIgHT." Lol

You should not be using slurs that mock the disabled community.

Using slurs to mock a community of people is offensive. You should stop that.
