It really depends. A lot of guys have the wrong idea that french kissing is about tongue-raping a girls mouth, and that just gets annoying. The tongue shouldn't be used during the entire kiss, just enough to tease with.

The human mouth is a disgusting place. I am slightly mysophobic, but not to the point where it interferes with normal life. It completely depends on the individual. I've had boyfriends, and girlfriends i couldn't wait to stop kissing, as their use of tongue was forceful and repulsive. That being said- used well- which in my opinion is gentle and not sloppy, it can make a kiss dramatically better.
