Does this mean i'm fired?

I got hired at a company but wasn't given a start date. I phoned someone in management and eventually was given a start date(two weeks after I was scheduled to work). Umm since I was scheduled to work then what? I'm confused? The manager said to pick up a work truck from him a day before my first day and to start working on Tuesday but I was already to work last Wednesday. Am I fired?

    It sounds like management is probably either incompetent or really disorganized. It doesen't sound like you're fired though.

    This makes no sense to me. It sounds like your manager doesnt know who you are and that you've already been working. You should call the manager back.

    But idk if Im even reading this thing right
