Does weed raise your pulse?

I took several big tokes off a joint 5 minutes later, I was breathing hard and felt paranoid. laid down to ease my breathing. Checked my pulse meter 95+, I started to panic which made it worse. Is this normal?

    Yup. It causes your blood pressure to increase. I would suggest to take it easy next time and not smoke as much.

    When you first start smoking that can happen. Weed isnt for everyone man. And theres nothing wrong with only smoking it socially after a few beers. Dont start doing it daily.
