I mean I believe he existed but that he was who all say he was ...no, sometimes I think he was a revolutionary hippie or something like that and all adored him. I do believe there is a god. out there but why represent god with Jesus and figures, it freaks me out to see those religious figures at church... is it normal?
Everyone has there own opinions I'm a big christain but I never tell anyone what to believe but I can say with me knowing Jesus is in my life and by my side I'm happy all the time no matter what
you could do what i do and not give a shit about any of these arguements and when someone asks you what religion you are tell them your nothing
I think Jesus' message has changed a lot these last 2,000 years. A lot of what made it into the New Testament was written 200 years after his death and Paul, who is credited with helping bring Christianity to such great heights, never learned or studied with Jesus or any of his original apostles. After his little epiphany Paul just sort of went off on his own tangent. In many areas his message is very different from that of Jesus'. Also, (apparently) to truly understand Jewish and Christian philosophies, metaphors and stories you need to read the Kabbalah. I have not done so myself but is IS my intention to do so.
The final thing I want to mention is that when Christianity was being presented to the Pagans he needed to measure up with epicness of their own gods. There are SO many other stories that involve virgin births, ascensions, miracles, coming back from the dead and the whole like. This is also where/when original sin and hell showed up. The people weren't just going to accept some normal man so he was heightened to God-status.
I think, given the history of the matter, it IS normal. As a once-Catholic/now-Agnostic, I don't know what to do about Jesus. He probably existed, but all the other supposed "facts" I question. I believe in his message (Love), I believe in perfect good and perfect evil. I think there's some "Christ" in each one of us, as well as the potential to turn from good. My advice is to not throw the baby out with the bathwater. One thing that I have let go down the drain is the idea that I am inherently incapable of good on my own, that doing good doesn't matter, and that I "need" Jesus to help me not sin any more... Hope this helps.
Whether or not "Jesus" was real and truly walked this earth is 100% irrelevant, it's what you do in this life that matters. The way you treat people. There is no sense in reading bibles and worshiping vengeful gods when all that matters is what we do while we're alive.

When it comes down to it: religion is nothing beyond faith and belief, hoping to give meaning and purpose to our actions.

ok.. I personaly believe in jesus but there are soo many other religions who don't or ppl u just don't believe that god even exist!.. and for that one who said that u can't go to Heaven..well does that mean that all the people appart from christians r going to hell?! that's ridiculous!
As long as u r a good person that's that matters.
But as i said i believe in Jesus..and maybe that's what u have r doubts because many things don't sound normal..but they weren't!

I think it's completely normal. Believe in what you want. I'm an Atheist. It really doesn't change who you are or anything.
if jesus was still here with us he would disown from all christians,cause he never said take me as a god!how a god can let himself get tortured and be put on a cross!! when god knew that jews intending 2 do so 2 him he took jesus 2 heaven but not as his son but as his prophet!
virgin mary born him without a man sperm,this was a miracle,and god gave him the ability to revive the dead,2 heal ppl from uncurable diseases,...etc
this is like Moses,or Abraham who was once been given the ability to revive birds which have been torn 2 pieces,god is the one who give these abilities to his prophets in order to get the ppl believe in him not believing in the divininty of his prophets,ppl who can think knows that god is one and only one..he's not jesus!!but i beleive jesus was there and real but as only a prophet from god who got a message to deliver at this time,and promising ppl with another prophet to follow who will have a message but will not be relieved at this moment,god has his own wisdom and technique of making every message believed at an exact time.

Yes, he was raised to heaven. Just like he said he would be. Thats why we dont have his remains.

Im not relly sure what informatiom you have. But jesus was not just a prophet, he was raised from the dead, predicted things in his life to a T. Performed miracles in cities all over, and never once sinned.
He was more than a prophet. He is God.

Like irishlemon said, many ancient documents beside the bible speak about jesus and the miracles he performed, even roman history.
There is a lit if physical and historical evidence that show and proves Jesus was real and did many things. How else would u explaine the miricles he did? Because there is evidence of tht. Beside the bible.

i wasted alot of years following Christianity.i try and have some sort of christian values coz thats how i was raised love/forgivness and mercy towards others. but i dont believe in no god whose gonna twat ya into hell if ya dont conform. damn man.

i believe in jesus as a prophet not as a god!yes he made a lot of miracles but every prophet has his own ones..we don't have complete knowledge about everything concerning religion in order 2 tell about everyone's..
i look around me and i can realize that this brain i got,this body,this marvelous nature,can't be a man made!! i can feel my god but i can't see him,,and this is more important 2 me,to feel!i read about religions,,islam make sense,there's only one god,it admit there's prophets and admitting jesus as one of them,quraan is the miracle!!it tells scientific realities which recently discovered while it's hundred years ago from god!!
My entire family is catholic and I never felt too strongly in the Christian faith. I respect it as any other religion but it's healthy to look into other religions, even if you aren't considering changing. Raised catholic, now pagan. It's odd how things work out, so just look around.
Jesus is real! The only way to get to God is through His son which is Jesus Christ. I have had alot of trials and tribulations that has brought me close to Him and its amazing. Once you have that relationship with Jesus its not like anything you will ever experience. I think the only reason you are questioning His existence is because you do not know Him. All I can say, once you know Him you will be complete and that uncertainty you have now will never exist again. God Bless you!
