Dreams about war and fighting

Its been going on for over a month now. I have these vivid dreams about war, fighting, killing, getting shot. I tried sleeping for only 2-3 hours so i wouldnt fall into deep sleep and maybe avoid the dream but even when i sleep for an hour i have these dreams. I wake up tired and nervous because of the intense fighting in a dream.

    Do you suffer from post-traumatic stress, anxiety, or depression? If you are taking drugs, it could just be the side effects. But if you aren't taking drugs and suffer with no apparent reason, please see a therapist.

      PLEASE dont see a therapist! Whatever it is, you can fix it. Are you ex military?

        Im not ex military, im 19 years old, male. I do have some basic military training though. The dreams i have are about fighting in Syria. They have become so vivid lately, maybe i should take a flight there.
