Anyone besides me find it complete bullshit when alcohol drinkers criticize drug users, especially when they criticize weed, which causes less damage and bad attitudes than drinking does?

What cracks me up is meth head druggies with missing teeth talking down to me about the dangers of MSG in my food.
For me, I dont care what you do.
So long as you hold a job, pay taxs, and provide for you and yours.
but
IF your kids go hungry.
the rent doesnt get paid.
Or, you commit a crime to support your habit.
Then and only then.
I have an issue with it.
I dont think drugs should be illegal.
But used in moderation.
The other argument that drunks want to use over pot is that liquor is legal, never mind that liquor still creates more problems to people's health and attitudes than pot does, and that pot has now become legal and medicinal in half of America now.
I had to laugh inside when I read your first sentence. The Nick Swardson show had a hilarious skit about about tweakers marking around with signs that said, legalize meth".
i've honestly never seen this happen, I see a lot of weed fanboys criticize alcohol though. im a drinker and only criticize drug users who ruin other's or their own lives, and yes I consider alcohol a drug
My flatmate said that she does not support the use of marijuana and that if someone smoked marijuana they should just stay away from her... She said this as she was drinking vodka. I thought it was really stupid. Brainwashed almost.
When I was in the UK, it seemed that most young Brits don't respect you if you don't drink. When I was on vacation (on holiday) in Mallorca, the Brits at the resort I was at gave me shit just because I was drinking only at night when we went to the clubs and not drinking consistently all day like they were.
I didn't mean drinking was wrong, I drink occasionally too. I just thought it was laughable that my flatmate was telling everyone that weed was wrong while she was drinking what was essentially poison lol. Yeah most of us Brits drink and smoke, it's a cultural norm for our age range. Most grow out later in life.
Both are stupid. Arguing over which is more stupid is pretty foolish.
Straighten up.
Alcohol causes more problems than weed though, and weed doesn't make people all crazy and pissed off the way alcohol does. You've heard of angry or wife beating drunks but not angry or wife beating potheads.
Many people would rather be assaulted than be met with apathy, which pot causes. So why not avoid both and not use either to begin with.
Alcohol is certainly much more likely than cannabis to make someone violent, but it's not unheard of for dope users to be violent
Yep and eating cannabis (eg in cookies) is good for people with emphysema or asthma because it widens the bronchial passages. It's also excellent for arthritis pain.
Not always. I was born with bronchitis and pot causes me muscle spasms, panic and shortness of breath and no I don't know why medically but it does cause attacks in me.
Not everyone just chills on pot. Thats is why it's dangerous in my opinion. No two hits or edibles are the same.
Yes, and you're right. Around 30% of car accidents in Texas are caused by drunk driving too.
both alcohol and weed are just fantastic
yall can has anythin else cause i dont want anythin to does withit
some idiot thinks his drug habit makes sense because alcohol is drank. News flash asswipe. both are bad.
Drinking is legal drugs are not( unless pot is legal where you live).
However i respect people more if they can go through life withput being permanantly drunk/ stoned/ fucked up .
That would be completely hypocritical. Imo it's stupid to put so much faith in the decision making process of a government, that you substitute it's opinions about lifestyle choices for what would be your own. People like that put way too much stock in the legal status of something; as if that necessarily means anything more than it suits a government to give it that status.
Not so much because alcoholics can be hypocritical of drug abusers, but rather they don't their drinking as an issue.
Why do either? Weed has proven to be the gateway drug for youth, legalizing it is a very bad idea.
