During winter the skin on my hands dry out to the point of bleeding

It's also both painful and itchy. Using hand cream just did not work at all and even cause pain. I don't think I overwash my hands, my washing routine is just the same as any other time of year. It got much better when the weather got milder

You just need a good skin cream - one that is oil based (it can be vegetable oils).

I live in Wisconsin and most of the skin cream is used in the winter here... because the dry air dries out the skin otherwise.

    • Thanks for the tip, I may try looking for that at the store. My skin problem isn't as bad at this moment because the weather has been milder lately

Yea its good lotion. Only buy medical stuff dont buy smell stuff. Theres one thats like cow something or another comes in a tube. Youll know it when you see it. Thick as hell works good smells and feels gross though. Its the type you apply before bed with gloves on

Not super uncommon. What sort of hand cream did you try? Are you on any drugs like Accutane?

    • Not using any drugs. The hand cream I used is called "winter jasmine" and it's from body shop, got it as a Christmas gift

Does it have actual oil? I think that would help more than a more watery product.
