Ear drops and a poof sound
Why is it that when I put witch hazel, or anything other ear drop into either ear, I can hear and feel a tiny poof?! It doesn’t hurt, and the liquid comes back out when I sit up.

The poof you hear is either the liquid or air in the ear canal being pushed against the ear drum. When you sit up the excess liquid drains out of the ear canal. Both are totally normal.
