Wouldn't it be a simple thing to put a checklist at the door, to mark as you leave home? Then you wouldn't have to worry so.
Yeah I do that all the time where I do something important and then question wether or not I actually did it (usually only for things that are Important or effect my safety
i figgered yall live in a big city penthouse where yall can call the staffn has em lockup for yall
I used to. Then, I moved out to the burbs. Land of plastic houses 4br 2.5 bath for the status quo. Ain't no squirrel huntin and poor dogs are tied to their owners when they go outside. But, cheap livin so lots of money left over for travelin and the stock market.

caint help yall with the rest of it
whynt yall git a country house or camp if yall gots the moneys?
Cuz, I need to be 1 hour from an airport. On long weekends I put my camp gear on a plane and head out to Washington State for fishing steelhead trout, or camp the swamps of Florida in the winter. New Hampshire gots some nice mountains for hikin and biking in the summer. I've heard that across the pond, there's good fly fishing in Ireland too.
I do the same thing. And when I go back to check, everything's fine. But when I don't go back to check, everything's out of order when I eventually come back home. -.-
everyones killin the power and lockin the doors but noones discussin killin the water main when they leaves for a few days

I'm the same way. I live in an old house and I worry that leaving something on will wind up setting off an electrical fire. I also worry about people entering the home and stealing because that's a common thing to happen to people in the town I live in.
My Uncle and his family are like that. They suffered a really bad house fire a couple of years ago and lost everything in that fire. Since that fire, they have been worried leaving the house without making sure everything in the house was switched is from the wall including the fridge.
Unfortunately, they were burgled when they were on vacation once when they switched the power off to the entire home. The backup battery for their security alarm system malfunctioned rendering it useless.
I constantly get that dawning realisation that I haven't locked the door after it's too late and I'm miles away, always have though
