Every time my fiance calls me

He talks a million words in a second and I barely get a word in. Not to mention that the more he talks the more I feel irritated and tired. I'm an introvert who can barely handle a 5 minute phone call. I tried to tell him this, yet he doesn't understand cause he's an extrovert. I answer some of his calls just to compromise this issue. Even so, I would be the one who ends the call because if I don't, we'd be on the phone for hours. The worst part is that he calls 20 times a day and I only answer 3-4 of them. Don't get me wrong, I do love him; it's just this phone call dynamic is crazy! Any advice please

    The problem isn't that he's an extrovert is that he doesn't respect you enough to modify his behavior so that you can both enjoy the phone contact.

    Have you tried telling him at the start of a phone call to please not talke so fast and please let me speak too? If he ignores this, he's just egostical and selfish.

    Find the right time, approach it in a non-confrontasional manner and talk to him about this issue.

    It's good to hear that you two are in good terms. However, I would recommend to get out of the turtles shell just for this one occasion (or else the issue may never be resolved). The next time he calls you make it your duty to beat him over the head on how you feel. Now don't confront him in an aggressive manor if you don't have it in you, but make an attempt to make your presence known.
