Exciting dream.

I had a dream two nights ago that was scary but fun as well. I was in Liverpool, England which is a city I know well. I was walking along a street near where I used to work and I was looking at the city skyline downhill from me. I saw the top of the Stenaline ferry moving along above the buildings, but it was like the ferry was flying and I could see the top of it poking up.
I realised "Oh shit! I'm supposed to be on that ferry!"
I was supposed to be going back to my hometown of Derry in Ireland. I jumped on a bus and before I knew it, I was on the bus doing about 100 mph down the road towards the port.
An announcement sounded over the PA system, "All passengers for the Stenaline ferry, please board ship B instead."
The bus swerved suddenly and started accelerating along an old rickety wooden pier and I could hear the turbo kicking in. The bus sounded like a race car as it sped along the pier at what felt like over 100 mph. I looked out the side window and saw and old shitty looking tugboat with the Stenaline logo messily painted on the side of it passing by. I thought the bus was going to stop on the pier and let everyone off but, it kept going!
The bus was almost at the end of the pier and showed no signs of slowing down when I started to wonder if I was dreaming. I had no time to think about that though, so I just grabbed the handle on the back of the seat and got ready for the landing.
The bus went flying off the end of the pier and I stood up and shouted "Yeehaa!" like a cowboy.
The bus landed on a concrete slipway and skidded to a halt, inches from the water.
I then got off the bus, looked around and realised that I was in Derry.
I think I woke up after that, as I can't remember anything more.
I think it may have been caused by the fact that the guy next door was singing the Irish song 'I wish I was back home in Derry', earlier that day and I had the song stuck in my head.
